Give your life to Yeshu ji

What does it mean to give your life to Jesus? Or to follow him? Or to become his disciple?

There has been much discussion over the answers to these questions. And many people have given a bad example of what it really means to follow Jesus. People have said that this means you must become a member of the Christian community, or that you must change your community, or that you must leave your family or change your name. But if we look closely we see that in these answers the meaning has been lost.

Let’s look at the Yeshu Granth and see what has been written about this there. Yeshu never told us to change the externals. He didn’t teach about religious conversion (dharam parivartan) but instead he taught about a change of the heart (hriday parivartan).

So how can our hearts be changed?

Everyone’s heart is filled with sin. We do wrong. We are not completely pure. We don’t have peace in our hearts.

The scriptures tell us that

“All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”

So what can we do? How can we be saved from this sin? The scriptures go on to tell us –

“Yet God freely and graciously declares that we are righteous (right with god). He did this through Muktidata Yeshu when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. For God presented Yeshu as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Yeshu sacrificed his life, shedding his blood.”

Prabhu Yeshu took our sins and wrong doing on himself. He died for us on a cross. But he came alive again!

I have told you how we all live in darkness. And we need the light of a Guru to show us the way.

We all are searching for salvation (mokhsa). But where can we receive moksha? For year the prayer of the rishis of India has been, “Asatoma sadgamaya, tamsoma jyotir gamaya, mrityorma amritam gamaya.” Which means ‘lead me from untruth to truth, lead me from darkness to light and lead me from death to eternal life.’

Sadguru Yeshu said that, “I am The Way, The Truth and The Life.” And he said that, “I am The Light of the world.” But we can receive moksha from any Guru, and any Guru can forgive our sin right? No! Only Sanatan Sadguru Yeshu can forgive us of our sins and give us moksha. In the scriptures it is written:

“There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”

There is moksha and forgiveness in only one name – and that name is Yeshu! Only Sadguru Yeshu can give us moksha and forgiveness.

But how do we accept and receive him as our Guru and our God?

In the scriptures it says,

“If you openly declare (say with your mouth) that Yeshu is Prabhu and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

So we just have to declare it with our mouths and believe it in our hearts!

If you are ready to follow Yeshu then pray the prayer written below. If you are not ready then we would encourage you to continue forward and try the 21 Day Challenge. We believe that Yeshu wants to do something in your life. And remember that praying this prayer doesn’t mean that you have become part of the Christian community or changed your community. If you are Hindu you can remain a Hindu as a disciple of Sadguru Yeshu. You can become a Hindu Yeshu Bhakt. To learn more about the Hindu Yeshu Bhakt movement click here.
